3rd Week of Camp - Coach Jae and the Red River Women's Team

This week the coaches are from Red River College.  Red River Head Coach Jae Pangalinan, and players from Red River Jolly-Ann and Zera teach the camp participants how to do a stride lay-up.  Using an innovative method of teaching it.  The athlete steps of the bench with their outside and then onto their inside foot to make the 2 stride lay up.

Coaches Jessica Ruggles and Brittanie Parisien did a great job coaching the Learning to Train and Training to Train Stage of the Long Term Athlete Development model set out by Canada Sport for Life and Basketball Canada.  The camp participants showed steady improvement during the week and the players and coaches had a lot of fun.
